There is an outer and inner frame assembly of high grade aluminum that is bonded together with a special welding process. The outer edge of the panel contains a drywall bead flange to help attach and align it to the wall. - A small reveal of 1/16” (1.59 mm) is visible between the outer frame and inner door after installation. - The rough opening to install the panel is the door size plus 1/4". - The outer frame is screwed into the framing from the side of the panel using self-tapping screws - Any access door over 12″ (305mm) has a safety-system to prevent accidental openings. This safety system must reset after each use. - Once installed, the panel is virtually invisible!
