A Sip of Jesus is a book of 40 enriching devotions to push you toward Christ. It’s not intended to be your main devotion time/quiet time with the Lord. I would encourage each believer who has access to the Scriptures to spend time in them so that the Lord can speak to them through His Word. However, I know that the Lord can speak to us through other people as well. So I hope you are able to hear from the Lord while reading A Sip of Jesus . We all get busy and unfortunately it causes us to miss time in the Scriptures so A Sip of Jesus is available for you to obtain a quick small dose of Scripture and to be encouraged. The reason I titled this book A Sip of Jesus is because we all need a pick-me-up every once in a while. As coffee can give you a jolt of energy, Jesus can give you a bigger jolt.
