With only five potent ingredients, this mousse delivers the even, all-over tan you've been searching for—without any guilt. You’re in control: the longer you leave it on, the darker your tan becomes. This formula is completely clear and free from artificial dyes (FD&C colors). After your first shower, the initial layer rinses off, but your tan will continue to develop naturally within 12-24 hours. Directions: PREP: Exfoliate with a washcloth in the shower the day before application for optimal tan results. APPLY: Pump the mousse onto a tanning mitt and apply it using long, even strokes. Make sure you cover every area. Skip the moisturizer on the day of application. RINSE: Allow the tan to develop for 4 to 8 hours. The longer you leave it on, the darker it gets. The tan fully develops by around 12 hours. If the tan is too light after 12 hours, reapply and leave it on longer during the next application. MAINTAIN: Reapply the mousse whenever you want more color. Your tan will begin to fade depending on your skin type, typically within 3 to 7 days. Moisturize daily to extend the life of your tan.
