● The brass fittings do not cross thread which eliminates leaking expensive hydraulic steering fluid and making a mess of your boat.
● Hose with screw cap fits for Seastar or equivalent oil bottles. End of tube includes fitting which screws into the helm pump.
● Custom bridge tube connects bleed ports on steering cylinder.
How to Use:
● 1. Connect bridge tube to 2 bleed fittings on steering cylinder and loosen fittings.
● 2. Unscrew the reservoir cap above the helm, attach the hose with brass fitting.
● 3. Connect the tube to the helm and the hydraulic steering fluid.
● 4. Hold the bottle of hydraulic fluid above the helm.
● 5. Spin the steering wheel to the left and right until no more bubbles in the bridge tube.
● 6. For best results do not attempt to clean out the oil residue left behind in the tubing.
● No installation guides are included, we highly recommend to seek professional installation.
