On one of the Carson family's frequent trips to the island of Bimini, they run into a situation that falls way outside the bounds of their usual fishing trips. The come to troll and fish the local reefs in the beautiful Bahamian waters, hoping only to spend father son time together and bring home a few filets of snapper, dolphin, or tuna. The local Bahamian police are too well recognized and cannot get close enough to a local band of drug smugglers, so they enlist the Carsons to be their eyes and ears offshore. The action heats up as the ruthless band of outlaws gets busy with a major drug haul offshore and the teenagers get a little too close to the action.
