Have you ever wondered what happens to a widowed pastor's spouse? All widows and widowers lose a great deal when their spouse dies. But for a widowed pastor or their spouse, the loss is even greater. The HOPE for the Widowed Ministry comes alongside the widows and widowers of ministerial credential holders and their families to help ease their grief. Our aim is to build a strong supportive community that will help them stay connected to their denominational district as well as with others who are walking the same path. This manual is a resource and guide for beginning a ministry to widowed ministerial credential holders and their spouses. Rev. Cindy McKinley is an ordained minister and a U.S. Missions Chaplain to the Widowed with the Assemblies of God, and the founder of HOPE for the Widowed . Since 2012, she has directed More than Conquerors , a ministry which reaches out to the widows and widowers of credential holders in the PennDel Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God.
