Installation method

To replace the old hinge, you'll first need to remove the freezer door.
After the freezer door is removed, tape the refrigerator door shut and then remove the screws from the center hinge, just loosening the third screw.
You'll slide the refrigerator door to the left slightly to remove the hinge.
Check the washers on the hinge (sold separately).
They may also need to be replaced. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience.
You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing.
