Dreams have been part of the fabric of humanity for thousands of years. Everyone dreams. Some are good and some are bad, and even some are too scary to believe. The Bible has 21 recorded stories in both the Old and New Testaments that show how God has spoken - sometimes to His people, and sometimes to those individuals through whom He shows His will. He has spoken to both men and women in the past to deliver messages that are life changing. He continues today to speak to people with dreams that have been often seen as unbelievable. Yet, many of them come true to prove He exists. God still communicates today through dreams and visions, so long as these impressions are evaluated in light of the Bible. God does not ever violate His own Word. Dreams that contradict that message may be a result of some other force or maybe just eating bad food the night before. As you consider how God speaks to you, realize that He always supports Himself. When you have a dream that you feel is a divine message, test it against Scripture. Dreaming can be God's way to bring you more in line with His will for you.
