Melanie Sangster Akin loves farming and everything that goes along with it. From chickens and roosters to goats and cats, she believes that each has its own place. She especially enjoys two things - animals and writing. She finds both amusing and serious stories when it comes to writing about her pets and her farm animals. Melanie wrote a weekly newspaper article, Mellie's Musings for her local newspaper. Clover was the star of most articles. The others might have been just a little jealous of Clover, but as she explained to them all... "I always wanted a goat." Melanie loves good recipes and enjoys preparing meals for her husband. Being a homemaker is a joy to her. She is a mother to a beautiful young lady and wants to share all of life with those that she loves.
