Yes, Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant is 100% free. We are never going to charge you a fee to make use of our mobile app.

Does the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant work the same way as the Joinitems Browser Extension?

Since most of the mobile browsers do not allow extensions to run, the Joinitems extension doesn’t work on mobile devices. However, we are working hard on a mobile app that will incorporate the features you’ve come to love in the Joinitems extension and more!

After you open the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant, you will see your personalized Feed. Here, you will find unique deals, products, and stores relevant to your shopping history - customized especially for you!

Explore Page

The Explore Page displays trending hashtags, products, and stores that are trending among your fellow Joinitems Members.

Droplist & Droplist Notifications

Droplist is a dynamic feature that monitors your favorite products and notifies you whenever the price of a product drops below an amount that you choose. You can watch a product for 30, 60, 90, or 120 days. After you sign into your Joinitems account on the app, the products you have added from the Droplist on the Joinitems extension will sync automatically and push notifications to your phone!

We will also remind you when a product you are watching is about to expire so that you can continue watching it if you wish. As soon as any Droplist products fall in price, we’ll notify you so that you can grab the deal right away!

Droplist tags allow you to organize products that you would like to watch for price drops. Planning a summer vacation to Chicago? Store all the products you need under a #chicago tag and filter easily to just those products from the Droplist section of the app!

Joinitems Wallet

Exclusive to the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant, Joinitems Wallet allows you to accelerate through checkout by storing your credit card and address information securely. Once your information is stored, you can make purchases on participating merchant stores smoothly - all without leaving the app!

How do I download the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant?

At present, the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant is available only for Apple devices running iOS 9 or above. We’re currently working on expanding the app to Android as well!

To install the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant on your mobile device, follow these steps:

1) Search for the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant in the App Store

2) Click Get

3) Click Install

How is the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant different from the Joinitems Extension?

When you use Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant, it will search, test, and apply coupon codes and exclusive deals to your purchase. The difference between the two is that the app allows you to access all of your favorite stores in a single place, thus eliminating the need to visit multiple sites - you can checkout once, find savings, and go ahead with your day.

DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT IF I'M AN EXISTING JOINITEMS MEMBER?

No, there is no need to! If you have already signed up with Joinitems, all you have to do is log in with the same email and password as your account for the Joinitems extension to access your account on the app! If you use the extension, but haven’t created an account yet, you will be required to register an account with an email address, or log in through Google or Facebook before checkout or adding a product to your Droplist.

WHY CAN'T I USE MY OWN STORE ACCOUNT?

Currently, we do not support using your own existing account with a merchant to shop from the Joinitems mobile app. We understand that might be disappointing when the merchant offers perks such as loyalty rewards points. However, we need to be able to place your orders with an Joinitems email address in order for us to manage purchases and filter only the relevant emails to your inbox.

How does the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant keep my payment info secure?

Your online payment security is extremely important to us. We never store your card details or send them to the merchant in order to ensure that we never allow anyone (including ourselves!) but you to access your personal information. The Joinitems app utilizes the Apple Keychain to store your encrypted card information on your device. When you are ready to checkout via Joinitems, we create a one-time-use virtual card to place your order with each merchant.

What happens when I make a purchase through the Joinitems app?

Joinitems has partnered with one of the most trusted payment processors in the industry to allow you to shop and check out from multiple stores across the web in a universalized shopping cart. Once you are ready to purchase, the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant will transmit your payment information

We never store your credit card information anywhere outside your own personal device.

How does Joinitems manage the emails I get from stores?

You purchase something online and the floodgates of spam emails opens itself making it impossible to ever clear your inbox. However, when you shop through Joinitems, we only forward important emails to you regarding your purchases such as purchase confirmation and shipping notifications.

Why did I get a charge from Joinitems.net?

To make sure that we are able to place your order successfully with each merchant, Joinitems serves as the “Merchant of Record” for orders that are placed via Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant. This means that rather than the original retailer, Joinitems will appear on your credit card statement whenever you make an order through the app. It’ll appear like this on your credit card charge:

While your order is processing, we will pre-authorize your debit or credit card. It won’t be charged until your order ships.

In case you return a product that you ordered to the original retailer (within the return policy terms of the retailer), we will make sure that the funds are securely returned back to your original payment method.

What do I do if I didn't receive a product I ordered?

All orders made through the Joinitems app are directly processed with the merchant. If you encounter an issue in receiving your order, you will be required to directly contact the merchant’s customer support.

You can find all the information you require to reach their support, including your order number and the email address you used to place the order from your Profile -> Order History

1) Go to Profile.

2) Click on Order History.

3) Click on the Details of the product you have not received.

4) Click on Contact (Store Name)'s Support.

5) Choose the contact option to initiate communication with the merchant.

What if I want to return a product I purchased?

Want to return a purchase that you made via the Joinitems Smart Shopping Assistant? You can access the return options of each merchant from your Order History Detail from your Profile screen.

1) Go to Profile.

Click on the Contact Support button and you’ll get to see all the options that are available currently for each merchant to initiate a return. You might be required to provide the merchant the order number and email address that you used to place the order. It is also provided on the Order History Support section.

Many merchants send a return shipping label inside of your package. Make sure to hang on to these till you are sure that you’ll not be returning the product.
